Mission Statement

Interplanetary Enterprise Conglomerates (IEC) was one of the Original Guilds to be formed within the emerging Star Atlas (SA) Metaverse. Our aim is to provide a stable and benevolent yet powerful Guild for the benefit of all its members.

 

We intend to flourish economically and politically within Factions, surrounding star systems and The Universe as a whole. IEC aims to create an environment where Individual’s and emerging companies can function effectively in a peaceful and benign area of space free from the threat of Piracy, corruption and malevolent entities.

 

We will initially concentrate on mining, trade and the creation of NFT’s which can be sold, rented or used to enhance infrastructure. However, opportunities within Star Atlas are seemingly endless and many are yet to be discovered. So as SA evolves over the coming years, IEC intend to evolve along side it providing its members the opportunity to discover and develop exciting and innovative methods of trade, production, commerce, competition, sport, entertainment and anything else this new universe will permit.

 

IEC aims to create a base in the ONI faction with the intention of taking advantage of the specific opportunities it provides, then streamline trade and provide safe passage between Faction space as required. Our home base would ideally be an entire planetary system that would form a safe haven for all guild members and friendly associates, it will provide the ability to repair and replenish ships and equipment, provide an area for entertainment and to rest and recuperate with full the commercial amenities that will fulfil their entrepreneurial potential.

 

In time we aspire to create a full Dyson Sphere to encapsulate and harness the energy of our home star with the purpose of powering jump points between our home base and protected areas in deep space. These Jump points would render fast, efficient and safe trade routes for guild members, travellers and merchants.

 

Although we intend to retain our core infrastructure within faction space, as we expand, we envisage that on occasion there may be times when it is necessary to travel to the further reaches of deep space, possibly for adventure, discovery or business. With this in mind we will create a fleet of powerful ships specifically designed for this task as a formidable defensive power enabling safe passage for the Guild as required.

 

We anticipate being one of the largest Guilds within the SA universe incorporating a sustainable, appropriate & affordable tax system that has little tolerance for crime, greed or corruption. Will will structure our governance for the mutual benefit of all, regardless of their skill or experience.

 

In the near future we expect new players to flock to IEC as we will identify ourselves as a non-aggressive trade directed organisation able to provide them with a safe orientation to the Universe and the opportunity to create a portfolio of their own ships and equipment even if they start with nothing. Its foreseeable that in time many of these new pilots, traders and players will perhaps independently spread their wings further into the outer edges of the universe away from the safety of IEC but retaining strong ties and creating possibilities far from the safety of home.
